I still think it's a little weird that I saw the fight the way I did, because I'd agree with you that it was Ruby-as-demon that was the issue there. But Dean's language tipped it over the edge for me.

I totally agree about Bela and her arc. She was an interesting character and they really never made anything of her, and I thought her interactions with both Dean and Sam were great. She did sometimes feel like she came from an entirely different show, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
