SPN 2x13: Houses of the Holy

"...Wait, unicorns don't exist?" Hahaha. I love you, Sam. I love Dean, too, especially when he's cranky but not totally irrational; I have to admit that when people go on a killing spree of random strangers, my mind doesn't go straight to "angelic influence."

Now, if they were Philistines or Moabites, that would be a totally different story.

I loved the scene with Father Gregory and the other priest. Lovely.

Sam really really wants there to be confirmation of good active in the world. And this makes sense to me, because whenever Sam got into the habit of praying, and however he integrated that into his life before this, the last few months must have had an effect on his belief.

There's a lot to chew over here, to do with faith and proof and doubt. And many occasions to say, "oh, Sam." and "oh, Dean." But that last scene just wrecked me, and I actually have nothing to say. Or rather, Sam wrecked me there; Dean's side of that scene didn't hold up so well. But whatever. Wrecked. Like, in tears.

I'm not reading, sorry. Just want to know if it's as good as last week?

Somebody needs to explain to Dean that there are very good reasons the boy hasn't seen a unicorn.

(At least, good reasons since he was 15 years old or so.)

Yeah, poor Sam. But I really liked Dean's skepticism here.

Sigh, it also means rewriting for the story I'm working on. Jossed or Kripked or whatever.

The magic fingers thing was also comedy gold and yet another shout-out to X-files.

That last scene was completely beautiful. I just...wow.
