I sometimes feel that we can be a little too picky about episodic television, which is often produced under a certain amount of pressure; then again, it's their job to create a good show.

Interesting point about Sam's resentments; he's been swallowing them down for most of the season, to keep from adding to Dean's problems, but they're still there, under the surface, waiting to be exploited.
