Hello from Halifax!

Something like 4500 miles later, here we are (yes, there were some side-trips on the way.) The car didn't break down, I didn't get into an accident, and we never had to camp by the roadside in the middle of nowhere. We did see bears and bear-cubs, a (rather surprised-looking) wolf, deer, moose, antelope and four species of whales including a blue whale in the St. Lawrence River.

Amazing experience. I'd recommend it.

Now all I need is to find a place to live here. Urk!
