(no subject)

Two more stories up on the Secret Sarkfics index: Fallen, by Cassi, and Agenda, by Lisek16.

In other news, I spent the day making mince pies (yum!) and reading The Ringed Castle. Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it!

Pssst...the layout on the story pages is funky. The lighter blue where the text is shorter than the story, and then after it ends, it becomes almost impossible to read the green text on green background.

And I wanna read these!! *pout*

In Opera (my main browser), it still does not look right; for example, in Cassandre's fic, only the first three paragraphs and the first sentence of the 4th appear in the light blue box for text.

However, it works fine in IE, so I'll just bookmark it and read it there. Don't worry - that happens a lot of me...which is why I still have IE handy. :)

If it's any consolation, I've noticed that many people have trouble coding to Mozilla or Opera standards; from what Hubby tells me (which I only half-understand, of course *g*), Mozilla and Opera follow firm Java rules for coding, and that makes it harder to do than for IE. I think it's because most MS or other website-creation programs add bits of code that make it non-Java compliant somehow.

So you're not alone; there are several sites I visit regularly (like RealityNewsOnline) where I always get a Java error message when I look at them with Opera. There's even one messageboard (EZboard) that I cannot visit at all on Opera. So don't think it's just because you can't code; it's a very common problem.
