• As aceofkittens predicted, my Farscape paper was accepted. Vegas in February!


• Now I must rewatch season one (oh, the pain, the pain!). I can rent the episodes, of course, but if anyone owns S1 and would be willing to send it to me for the month of December, I would be extremely grateful. I'd also pay the postage, of course.


• Nine hours left to sign up for the Secret Sarkfic Santa! I know that many of the people reading this would like some Sark as a present this holiday season. This may not be the ideal form, but it should be fun...


• I have been insanely busy all week, as it's nearly the end of the semester. Three more days...

I had something else to say, but can't think of it at the moment. Perhaps later, should I ever finish marking these essays.

If you were in Oxford at the moment I'd happily lend you my Farscape DVDs. Getting them across the Atlantic might be a tad impractical however.

Congrats! People who have been to Vegas say that it is great fun if you got at it with the right attitude, that the people watching is better than any place else on the planet (I've been to some pretty good people-watching venues so I'm not so sure about this) and Febuary is a great month to go.

And, of course, on top of all that - the whole presentation/conference thing. Go you!
