No, maybe you are right about the accent, and I am wrong. I am terrible at identifying accents as well. She may just have sounded 100 percent Australian to me because most of the Aussies I know (e.g. my spouse) have had their accents Anglicized by years in the U.K. So to me, that's what an Australian sounds like!
