Maybe not wool. I imagine she's actually something like viscose, where you can wash it and hang it up to dry and/or take it out of the suitcase that's been bumping around a plane's cargo hold for hours and being flung about by cargo handlers at either end of its journey, then simply shake it out and wear it, with none of that tedious ironing business.

(In fact, I have a black and white print dress that works just like that. It travels so much better than any other dress or skirt I wear that I suspect most of my travelling companions aren't aware I own any other dresses!)

However "gray viscose slacks" doesn't sound so well. Back to the drawing board, I guess. She's definitely that one favourite outfit that you always take with you wherever you go though.
