I've been watching what looks to me like the well-educated version of an Internet Retard Slapfight (corollary: The Internet Is For Retards) over on fca-l. Do not, if you have any regard for me, allow me to get involved. My response would essentially be as follows:

1) You're so wrong! Neener, neener, neener!
2) And anyway, who died and made you the boss of everything?

So I think I ought to be able to control myself. The varieties of fannish experience never cease to amaze me.

It's on fca-l on yahoogroups. It's very "Please, please, get your heads out of your asses!" in that well-reasoned way. Not so much with the fireworks, though.
